(new) Fire risk map turns Oregon into big fireball

The last time Oregon released a fire map it was so bad that people feared insurance companies would jack up fire insurance for most of the state because most of the state was a high hazard zone.

Well, the new fire map looks just as dangerous.

If extreme fire danger is the new normal why doesn’t Oregon …

– remove fire-prone areas, and plant them with new healthy high-carbon capture young trees that burn less?

– invest in jumbo-jet fire dousing planes?

– stop watching forest roads, used by firefighters, be decommissioned?

– stop giving billions in tax breaks for big tech companies to divert enormous quantities of water?

Just saying.
