Portland Police shared on X that they have arrested multiple people and even ticketed the driver of this “batmobile” in their crackdown of street racing over the weekend.  Police have warned that nearly 1,000 people from across the NW may be descending on Portland for a street takeover rally.

Also, two people died tragically in a Gresham crash as they were eluding officers and ran into a light pole.

The night of August 2nd police made 50 traffic stops, 7 arrests, towed 4 vehicles and gave 11 citations. You can read more about their efforts here.
