Yes, Oregon should follow other liberal states

Oregon could learn a valuable lesson if it would just follow the lesson from fellow liberal states, as other liberal states are acknowledging the failures and boundaries of failed progressive ideas.

California and Illinois are working to cut benefits to non-citizens to save billions.  Oregon is working on going the opposite direction by expanding food stamps to cover non-citizens with SB 611.

New York, Wisconsin, Michigan and Colorado have cut or are cutting their income taxes while Oregon is working on raising their income tax through wage taxes and expanding the homeless service income tax in the Multnomah, Clackamas, and Washington County.   Oregon is also considering $1.8 billion in new road taxes.

Maryland and Virginia have revoked their gas vehicles sales ban.

Oregon needs to realize that the rest of the country has moved on from these failed experiments.
