Media dismisses “mayhem” … we saw it outright

The Front page Sunday Oregonian made the case that Portland doesn’t fit the “lawless mayhem” claim made by President Trump.

The Taxpayers Association of Oregon monitored the ICE protests this weekend at different times and found it to be a scene of non-stop altercations.  Every hour or two there was in-fighting and often police had to intervene to stop a fight.  Below is a photo of one where a man was knocked to the ground and needed immediate medical support.

ICE had to use pepper-smoke bombs to disperse the Sunday night crowd. Tear-gas was used for the Saturday night protest.

An ambulance was partially delayed from reaching the ICE facility because the crowd was slow to move.

Since the police were set aside, we witnessed these law-breaking activites at the protest:
street takeovers,
graffiti,
damaged property,
trespassing,
dumping trash,
illegal camping,
screaming threats,
bullhorning threats,
sticker vandalism,
harassing pedestrians,
using laser pointers,
public drug use,
public drinking,
and outright fighting.

This is mayhem.

Look at how Portland Police find it hard to navigate traffic in the ICE protest.
