Portland’s 30 new speed-cams issue 70,000 tickets

Last week we reported that the town of Sherwood handed-out 1,000 speeding tickets in one week, which represented 5% of the entire by proportional representation. This week, the Portland Bureau of transportation announced that their 30 new speed cameras in Portland have handed-out nearly 70,000 tickets since last November .
