Portland Riot: Lincoln, Roosevelt statue toppled

A mass gathering of protestors gathered in downtown Portland marching through the South Park Blocks in protest of Columbus Day. They smashed windows and toppled the statues of Abraham Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt.

They broke into the entrance of the Oregon Historical Society and threw an ignited flare into the lobby.

On 4th of July weekend the Taxpayer Association of Oregon rallied in support of George Washington and against his statue toppling.
