METRO wage tax to demolish 450 homes, shops to benefit rich businesses

Taxpayers Association of Oregon

METRO’s ballot measure 26-281, wage tax, will forcibly destroy and displace as many as 300 homes and 150 businesses to help create a subsidized light rail train to a taxpayer subsidized luxury mall, The Bridgeport Village, and its many top notch pricey shops.

The Bridgeport mall does not need any more subsidies nor special billion dollar help creating a train to help bring shoppers from other shopping malls to theirs.

Furthermore, after the wildfires destroyed thousands of homes and the virus destroyed thousands of businesses, we do not need to destroy the ones remaining for a train no one will ride.

Help us spread the word to voters to reject this tax and protect paychecks and jobs.
