Lars Larson: Correcting the record on the VP

The Northwest Nonsense

Last week’s election created a lot of new first’s for America.

But let me tell you about something that is not a first…and something you’re not likely to hear about from the Fake News media.

If the final vote tally next month makes Joe Biden President, Kamala Harris is NOT the first BIPOC Vice President. Woke folks recently invented the term BIPOC, which means “Black, indiginous and People of Color”. It’s an identity politics thing. But America’s first BIPOC Vice President was elected 92 years ago.

He was Charles Curtis, a member of the Kaw indian nation Descendant of Chief White Plume of the Kaw and Chief Pawhuska of the Osage

He was Herbert Hoover’s vice President. And if you wonder why you haven’t heard any mention of Vice President Curtis while reporters are talking about Kamala Harris as the projected first FEMALE BIPOC Vice President.

Curtis was a Republican BIPOC so that likely makes any mention of him by the woke liberal news reporters highly unlikely.

By the way, as long as we’re talking about BIPOC, President Trump last week won the biggest minority vote of any Republican candidate in sixty years

Democrats outspent the republican party by 3 billion dollars…7 billion to just under 4 billion

Democrats figured that would buy them 15 more seats in the house of representatives. The races aren’t all decided yet but it looks like six to ten seats gained by the GOP.
