Taxpayer Association of Oregon
The Oregonian reports that Oregon’s share of the stimulus package is $4.3 billion. This money is for all expenses related to dealing with the pandemic including handling out raises.
This $4.3 billion already comes on top of funds already provided through earlier Federal stimulus funding.
This means there is no need for the…
- 3000% alcohol tax increase
- robbing businesses of COVID tax relief funds
- 60% property tax hike
- Three timber taxes
- Kate Brown’s property tax plan
There is no need to raise these taxes.
Lawmakers should pull these taxes off the table, balance the budget, fix the pressing issues and go home.
