Oregon among top shrinking states

Recent Census Bureau numbers show that Oregon’s population has decreased by 16,000 people as measured during the period July 2021 and July 2022.

This represents a a 0.4% drop from the previous year and the first time Oregon has witnessed a population decrease since 1983.

State Economist says This is a two or three alarm fire. -17,000 net domestic migration. If 2023 doesn’t rebound, it’s a five alarm fire for the economic outlook.

Families with children are leaving and taking their future babies to low-tax states.

 

Portland is doing all kinds of things to drive people away..

 

Governor Brown and Tina Kotek jacked up business taxes and drove many businesses away.

 

The highest cost of living states, mirrors liberal states.
