Again, Oregonian calls controlling U.S. debt extreme

Wow.

A group of Republicans are asking for spending cuts and they are now labeled as “far right”.

Did the Oregonian call the trillions in additional spending passed by liberals as “far left”?

Look at the debt.

 

Republicans just want to get spending levels (as measured by share of entire economy) to be at historic norms.

Is that so extreme?

 

Here was a recent cartoon The Oregonian featured a few weeks ago, once again painting people who wish to control the Federal deficit as extreme.
