Anthony Reed, Springfield School Board candidate, has 2 DUIIs

Anthony Reed is running for Springfield School Board, Position 4. He is a Journeyman Carpenter as well as a past candidate for school board in 2021.

Public records show that Anthony Reed was charged with two DUIIs, receiving one conviction in 2010.

In 2007 he was charged and not convicted of a DUII but was convicted of reckless endangerment.

In 2010 Reed was charged and convicted of a DUII. He also was convicted of failing to take a test for intoxicants and refusal to take a breath test.

Reed’s voter pamphlet statement makes no mention of school safety. Reed has announced campaign endorsements from high profile Democrat Val Hoyle, the Springfield Education Association, and the Oregon Education Association, among others.

Ballots mail to voters starting April 26th and must be dropped off or mailed by May 16th. The winner of the election is sworn in for a four year term on the Springfield School Board.
