Fake mailman crimes

This week, the FBI arrested Jeffrey Branham (photo) who has been dealing drugs in a postal uniform in Seattle.   He was caught by authorities with a loaded handgun, fentanyl, Xanax pills and $2,000 in cash on him when he was arrested.  He did his drug dealing near a drug rehab center.

Last year, a Portland crime ring bust uncovered three cars, guns, passports, social security cards, a mail carrier uniform jacket and hat and mail from more than 30 people.

This may be a one-time incident in Portland and Seattle of imposter mail carriers or it may be a new trend.  Be alert.

We would be remiss if you talked about stolen USPS items and forgot to mention this news story.
