The Clackamas County Sheriff reports,

The Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to help recover a unique treasure trove of medieval costuming — including a suit of armor — stolen from an equally unique renaissance-fair trailer. In the morning on Saturday, Oct. 28, a Sheriff’s Office Deputy responded to a report of a stolen trailer. The victim said that someone had stolen the trailer overnight from his rural property in Canby.  The trailer is a 4′ x 8′ low-wall trailer with a custom built round cover, decorated in a medieval theme. It’s used at renaissance fairs, and was filled with beautifully crafted medieval costume items — including an entire suit of armor, a sword, and other items. A photo of the trailer is attached. Fortunately, the responding deputy spotted and recovered the trailer that same day on Needy Road. However, someone had emptied it. Photos of these still-missing items are attached. Can you help us reunite these fantastic creations with their rightful owner? Anyone with information is urged to contact the Sheriff’s Office Tip Line — by phone at 503-723-4949 or by using the online email form at: https://www.clackamas.us/sheriff/tip
