Oregon #1 power-outage state (1/4 million)

With nearly a quarter million people out of power, Oregon hit the #1 state with the most people out of power by our sampling of data from the website Poweroutage.us.

On January 13th, Oregon hit nearly a quarter million people without power.

 

This could be a random fluke of a storm or it could be a sign of power outages to come.

 

— We sampled several other days and could not find any state that topped 217,000 for January thus far.
