Strong police presence kept rioters away … it works!

After Portland Police spent millions in extra funding to prepare for this election and put dozens more officers on the street (above photo), the media now reports how peaceful the post-election nights have been compared to outright rioting in the past four elections.

• The Oregonian reported, ” It remained peaceful, allowing officers to turn their attention to other matters.”

• Willamette Week reports, “In Portland, Muted and Peaceful Protests Greet Trump’s Victory”

• KATU-2 reports “A group called the International League of People self-proclaimed their gathering a “green protest,” meaning they asked people not to engage in any violence.“

Don’t forget that not only did Police spend millions more, but local shops spent tens of thousands boarding up dozens of buildings.
