Seattle verifies Kotek’s Portland tax fears

This recent headline showcases that Seattle’s taxes have soared so high that businesses are leaving.

This is exactly what Oregon Governor Kotek has warned when she demanded that Multnomah County roll-back their very high county income tax to pay for free preschool.

This preschool tax, passed in 2020, helped make the county one of the highest taxed areas in America.
