Black bear found near Wilsonville Fred Meyer

Wilsonville Police helped chase a black bear in Wilsonville away from businesses and homes and towards the Willamette River.

The Wilsonville Police reported, “Yesterday, deputies responded to reports of a young black bear moving through the city. Around 10:45 p.m., deputies led it towards the river. Black bears are not common in Wilsonville, but wildlife sightings can happen anywhere.”
