Portland liberals call to “Abolish Israel”

Portland Left-leaning protestors were out this weekend displaying a banner over the 12th Street bridge calling to “Abolish Israel”.

As the photo shows:

#1. Palestinian flag
#2. Banner calls to “Abolish Israel”
#3. Red triangles = Symbol of Hamas military action.  This symbol has been banned in Europe.

This is not a call for peace but for extermination of a people.

Here is a break-down of Oregon-based political violence against Jewish people since Oct. 7th 2023:

• Anti-Israel rioters take-over and damage PSU library by $1.4 Million

• Portland music hall vandalized for having Jewish musician

• Portland comedy business vandalized for having a Jewish comedian

• 120 year old Jewish artwork fountain vandalized

• Portland flyers distributed at PSU campus call for “Intifada” and outright arson. (Intifada is a call for violence)

•  Anti-Israel posters plastered on public property in Bend call to end America.

• Anti-Israel graffiti on Lewis & Clark campus calls for “Death to America”

• Portland shop that displayed Star of David had their window bashed within hours.

• A truck-driver was ambushed by protestors for making a delivery to Portland Boeing office (Boeing opposed by protestors).

• Portland Christmas festival disrupted by anti-Israel protestors.

• Oregon DEQ office bashes Israel.

• Oregon teacher handbook teaches subversion against Israel.

Political violence is wrong no matter the cause.  Even though the cause changes, Leftists in Oregon still riot.  The 2019 immigration debate saw riots in Portland where  a city block was occupied.  The Supreme Court abortion decision resulted in four Oregon pregnancy charities being vandalized or set afire.   When Canada had news of abuses at their native Catholic schools – four local Oregon Catholic parishes were vandalized.  This political violence must stop.
