Study: 66% infections came from home!

America’s hardest hit state can offer lessons for Oregon. A new major study of 1,000 New York hospitalizations shows some unexpected results:

– 66% of new infections have been occurring at home

– 20% came from nursing homes (18%) or assisted living facility (4%), which puts infections from people where they live at around 86%!

– 96% of the hospitalizations involved people with pre-existing conditions
