Oregon Poll Results: GOP gov. candidates, Brown, Biden approval

A very large  Republican Primary candidate Governor straw poll was issued this week by Oregon Catalyst. Here is the breakdown:

45% – Stan Pulliam
21% – Bud Pierce
19% – Bill Post
7% – Tootie Smith
5% – Dallas Heard
3% – Paul Romero

Leading candidate Stan Pulliam is the Mayor of Sandy. Bud Perice was the 2016 Republican Governor candidate. Bill Post is a State Representative and former radio host. Tootie Smith is Chair of Clackamas County and former State Representative. Dallas Heard is a State Senator and current Oregon GOP Chair. Paul Romero is a former Congressional candidate.

11% – Very positive
26% – Somewhat positive

57% – Negative (total)
20% – Somewhat negative
37% – Very Negative

A total of 6% responded with don’t know.

United States President Joe Biden

39% – positive (total)
11% – Very Positive
28% – Somewhat positive

40% – Negative (total)
12% – Somewhat negative
28% – Very negative

A total of 7% responded with “Don’t know”

40% – right direction
