The Port of Portland has issued a travel alert over a protest involving dozens of vehicles outside the Portland International Airport.  The alert reads: Traveler Alert: A protest caused a temporary roadblock on Airport Way. The Port Police have cleared the road and are working to reroute shuttle buses and traffic. Your safety and smooth travel are our top priorities. Please plan accordingly. Thank you for your patience.”

This comes on one of the more busiest travel seasons of the year and may have caused people to miss their flights.

The protest was an Anti-Israel protest over Gaza.  The protesters rallied about 50 cars to caravan near the airport.

Previously, anti-Israel protesters blocked traffic outside the Los Angeles airport and JFK airport.
